Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care is a nonprofit organization offering a range of services for people of all ages and at any stage of serious illness. We’ve been providing comfort and care to the seriously ill and their families in the greater Kansas City area since 1980.
By providing both hospice and palliative care, we are able to assist patients and their loved ones at any time following a serious diagnosis. Hospice is provided when the focus is primarily on comfort; palliative care is provided when it is too early for hospice care and the patient may be seeking treatment aimed at cure.
An all-volunteer board of directors provides guidance for the organization. More than 250 staff and more than 400 volunteers serve more than 2,000 families a year. Our service area includes six counties in Missouri and three counties in Kansas.
