Walk to Remember 2010
Saturday, June 5
The third annual Walk to Remember benefits Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care. This family fun day is at Avila University. Participants can celebrate the life of a loved one by walking as little or as much as desired. Linger at the memory garden to remember a loved one. Individuals can raise additional funds for Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care, and prizes will be given to those who raise the most money.
This year's event features a dove release at 9 a.m. in the memory garden.
$25 registration fee for people 12 and older, including food, all activities and a T-shirt.
No cost for kids 11 and younger, but T-shirts are $5
KC Loose Change Band is back! Games for kids of all ages, clowns, balloons, raffles and much more! T-shirts, face painting and cars from the Ferrari Club of America - Kansas City Chapter, with one ride in a Ferrari as a raffle prize. It's rain or shine, but shelter will be provided in case of extreme weather. Come join the fun!
