Dr. Allegre is director of medical programs for Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care. She practiced internal medicine and geriatrics for 18 years before joining our staff as our first full-time physician in 1999.
Recognized as a national expert, Dr. Allegre received the prestigious leadership award from the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine in 2007 for educating and training future leaders in the field.
A graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine, she is board-certified in internal medicine, geriatrics, and hospice and palliative medicine. She is clinical associate professor of medicine for the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
Christian Sinclair, MD
Dr. Sinclair is an associate medical director and has been with Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care since 2004.
He completed his medical degree at the University of California, San Diego, before his internal medicine residency and palliative medicine fellowship in Winston-Salem, N.C. He is board-certified in internal medicine and in hospice and palliative medicine. Dr. Sinclair is director of our palliative medicine fellowship.
Pam Harris, MD
Dr. Harris joined Kansas City Hospice as an associate medical director in 2006. She graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine where she specialized in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
She is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and spinal cord injury medicine. She also is an ordained minister in the United Methodist Church.
Amy Clarkson, MD
Dr. Clarkson is an associate medical director, joining
Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care in 2008.
She completed both her medical school degree and family
medicine residency through the University of Kansas medical system. She spent
her last year as Chief Resident for the family medicine program before entering
a palliative medicine fellowship through Kansas City Hospice & Palliative
Care.
Maria Ferrell, APRN, BC-PCM
Maria Ferrell is an advanced practice registered nurse. She has specialized in caring for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families since 2000, and has been with Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care since 2005.
A graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a master’s degree in nursing, she is board-certified in adult health and in advanced practice palliative care management.
